90th Birthday
Where have the 90 years gone?
I’m sure you will sit and think
Then another year will just fly by
Before you have time to blink
You will have many happy memories
And so many tales you can tell us all
Some will mean more than others
Just how many can you now recall?
Your wedding to the one you love
Will be very high up on the list
And your family now all live abroad
Who I know you sadly miss
But then you are so very lucky
To have lived far more years than most
And tonight at this special party
You will be the perfect host
You decided that a trip away
Was just not right for you
So this party with the family
Is what you chose instead to do?
So here we all are to celebrate
Those very special 90 years
The family will all spoil you
And I’m sure will shed some tears
It’s only 10 more extra years now
For a special message from the King
So treat each new year as very special
And always do your very own thing
We can all reflect on your good times
And then put the bad ones in the bin
You must have so many happy memories
Just where can you fit them all in?
There is one thing that’s for certain
As each extra year you now make
There is certainly not enough room now
For all the candles on your cake!!
You will now have to be so careful
If you decide to light them all
Make sure to keep your phone on hand
To give the Fire Brigade a call.
