Hello and thank you for visiting my collection of poetry.

I am Les, the writer of these poems that started after I lost my wife to cancer in July 2010.

I had never written anything at all and was very surprised that in a short time had written a few poems brought on by the grief I felt without my companion of 40 years.

This then catapulted into writing poems for family and friends birthdays and anything and everything that arose and stuck in my mind.

Whether you are a fellow poetry lover, a curious reader or simply someone who just happened to stumble across this website. I hope my words resonate with you in some way and give you some sort of pleasure.

Please feel free to tell others and share these poems and also use them in the future as you may choose to do.

I hope to possibly add some more in the future if and when any other ideas come to life.
