GRUMBLING
Why is it that people grumble
When they have everything they need
While people who have nothing
Worry just how they’re going to feed
Some could learn a lesson
By losing everything they own
Then perhaps they could feel for others
Instead of continuing to moan
If we all could spare just a moment
And reflect on what we have
Did it come to us quiet easily
Or was our journey really bad
My life has seen so many problems
Mostly all of them created by me
I thought the grass was greener somewhere else
But then found it was really not to be
So now enjoy each day for what it is
Think of others worse off than you
Leave the grumbling to someone else
Just be happy in all that you do
I know life will be far better if you smile
Those who know you will really be proud
Where is the person who grumbled each day
It seems he’s at last lost in the crowd
