INDISPENSABLE MAN
Sometime when you think you’re important.
Sometime when your ego’s in bloom.
Sometime when you take it for granted
that you’re the most important man in the room.
Sometime when you think that you’re leaving
would leave an unfillable hole.
Just follow these simple instructions
And see if they humble your soul.
Take a bucket and fill it with water.
Put your hands in it up to your wrists.
Take them out and the hole that remains
Is the measure of how you’ll be missed?
You may splash all you want as you enter
You can stir up the water galore.
But wait and in just a minute
It looks just the same as before.
The moral of this is quite simple
Do always the best that you can.
Be proud of yourself but remember
THERE IS NO INDISPENSABLE MAN!!!!
